We are offering a 10% discount when enrolling in AutoPay for upgrades. This offer is available to all Gen Mobile customers who make a purchase by phone with a credit or debit card.
How the AutoPay Discount Works
When you enroll in AutoPay for an eligible Lifeline upgrade plan, a 10% discount will be applied automatically to your upgrade plan purchase.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the AutoPay discount, LIFELINE customers must:
- Be an active Gen Mobile Lifeline customer
- Purchase an eligible upgrade plan by phone
- Use a valid credit card or debit card
- Enroll in AutoPay during the transaction

PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING SCRIPT VERBATIM BEFORE ACTIVATING AUTOPAY FOR ANY CUSTOMER; OTHERWISE, IT WILL BE AN AUTO FAIL.
"By enrolling in AutoPay, you agree that Gen Mobile may automatically charge your credit or debit card on file for your monthly plan rate plus applicable taxes, surcharges, and fees and certify you are authorized to use the card. AutoPay will be enabled until you cancel it or your card issuer or Gen Mobile terminates it. You may cancel AutoPay at any time by contacting Gen Mobile. Do you understand and agree to enroll in AutoPay and to the Terms & Conditions?"

The discount is applied once the customer agrees to purchase the upgrade plan. Agents must inform the customer that they can enroll in AutoPay, which will give them a 10% discount each month as long as they remain enrolled in AutoPay.
Explain AutoPay:
AutoPay is a convenient way to ensure your service is never interrupted. Each month, your payment will be automatically deducted from your chosen credit or debit card. You’ll still get a 10% discount every month you are on AutoPay.
"You can enroll in AutoPay today so your monthly payment is charged automatically to the credit or debit card on file. This helps you avoid interruptions to your service, and for eligible Lifeline upgrade plans purchased by phone, you will receive a 10% discount once AutoPay enrollment is completed."
Discount Setup:
To set up the discount, go to the Plan Change or Plan Renew section in the Quick Links and select the upgraded plan to purchase.

Click the Set AutoPay checkbox. This will provide a 10% discount of the discounted plan amount.
Make sure to have the "Keep the expiry as original date" checkbox UNCHECKED so the plan can be renewed in 1 month from the purchase date; otherwise, the plan will be renewed on the free plan renewal date.
