How to set the APN Setting for BLU C5L device

This could fix the unable to use service issue, at this point have the customer try to used te data.


If issue persists, you will need to add the APN Setting:

Android Devices Using our newer SIMs: 89012401

1. Pull down the notifications screen & tap on Settings

2. Tap on Mobile Data (some phones say “more”)

3. Tap Mobile Networks (some phones have “Access Point Names” here)

4. Tap Access Point Names

5. Press the menu button

6. Select New APN

o Name:Gen Mobile

o APN: pwg

o Proxy:

o Port:

o Username:

o Password:

o Server:

o MMSC:http://pwg.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc

o MMS Proxy:

o MMS Port:

o MCC: 310

o MNC: 240

Android Devices 

1. Pull down the notifications screen & tap on Settings

4. Tap Access Point Names

5. Press the menu button

6. Select New APN

o Name:Gen Mobile

o APN: pwg

o Proxy:

o Port:

o Username:

o Password:

o Server:

o MMSC:http://pwg.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc

o MMS Proxy:

o MMS Port:

o MCC: 310

o MNC: 260

7. Select Menu and Save

8. Go back one screen to the APN list and tap on the dot to Enable the PWG Mobile APN

9. Restart phone & you’re set!

Apple/IOS Devices:

Apple/IOS devices use the same APN settings, no matter what SIM they are using

• Cellular Data APN: pwg

• MMS APN: pwg

• MMSC: http://pwg.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc

• MMS Max Message Size: 1048576

• MMS UA Prof URL: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf

• Leave all other fields blank

AT&T APN Settings:

APN Name: genmobile.com

APN NI: genmobile.com

APN Protocol: IPv4

Proxy:

Port:

Username:

Password:

Server:

Inactivity Timer:

Bearer or RAT Type: Unspecified

APN Type: Default, SUPL, MMS, FOTA

APN Roaming Protocol: IPv4

MMSC: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net

MMS Proxy: proxy.mobile.att.net

MMS Port: 80

MCC/MNC : 310-410. Or 310-030

Authentication Type (None, PAPA< CHAP): None

Mobile Virtual Network Operator Type(None, SPN, IMSI, GID): None

Mobile Virtual Network Value: None

Once APN Settings are added, data should work, so have the customer try to use it.
