Multi-Month Discount Promo

Overview:
Starting 7/1/2026, when purchasing prepaid plans for 3-6-12 months, customers will get a discount based on the number of months purchased and the plan selected.

Restrictions:

• Only​ applicable to plans from $20-$50. The $10 is excluded from the promotion.
• The promotion is not available for brand-new activations, only available for existing customers during plan changes/renewals.

Mandatory:

• The promotion is mandatory to be provided proactively by voice agents during a plan change/renewal. By not offering it proactively, it will be penalized under "Q4.3 Did we offer sales and promotions, completely and accurately?"
• The agents are required to set the discount amount manually depending on the plan price range and amount of months.

Things to know:

• If the consumer wishes to add autopay to the promotion, the expiry date must be set in 5 years, and the auto-pay discount can be combined with the promotion.

Adding the Multi-Month Discount in Telgoo5:

1. Access Account: Go to the customer’s account in
   Telgoo.
   
2. Apply Discount: In the Quick Links tab, you can add the discount from the Plan Change or Plan Renew tab depending on if the discount is for a plan renewal or plan change.

3. Plan Change (if necessary): 

• ​If changing the plan, update the plan before adding and selecting the correct discount.
• For plan renewals, you do not need to update the plan.

4. Advance Billing: Select the Advance Billing Quantity. Select one less than the total months desired (e.g., for 6 months, select 5). In this example, the total is 6 months.

5. Discount Details: Select the Plan Discount Amount based on the plan and duration. Ignore the Autopay Discount section.

Expiry & Effective Date 

• Do not enter an expiry date unless you are setting up Autopay.
• For Autopay set the Plan. Discount Expiry Date to the end of the month in 5 years.
• Select Instant, On expiry, or Custom date. 

6. AutoPay Enrollment: If the customer wants to enroll in AutoPay, click the Set Autopay box.

• The Autopay discount will be applied and set to 10%.
• For Autopay set the Plan Discount Expiry Date to the end of the month in 5 years.
• If Autopay is set up, the payment will be made for the full 3, 6 or 12 month payment. Then the monthly payment will be made for 1 month at a time. It will not renew for 3, 6 or 12 months at a time.

7. Plan Summary: Scroll down to the Total Amount section. The total reflects the cost for all months plus applicable taxes.

8. Payment Portal Submission: Lastly, click Submit. Verify the amount is correct and collect the payment in the payment

portal.
