The RTR Associate must qualify or disqualify the proof presented in the Applicant Audit Section for the right reason.
The primary ID will be considered valid if it meets the following criteria:

The ID is partially cut off, but all details are visible, so it can still be APPROVED.

The address on the ID matches the home address on the application
If the RTR sees a mismatch between the address on the application vs on the proof presented, they can use Google to verify if it has been standardized.

• cardinal directions(North, East, South, West), do not need to match.
• cities and streets can include minor typos or use an abbreviation.
• cities and streets can also miss a part of the name if it is part of a larger name and it is all reasonably matching.
• in some cases neighborhoods can be listed as the city and a zip code may have a different city.
• a zip code does not need to match if all other information matches and it is verified by a Google address lookup.

Take note that the format of the DOB on the ID may not be the same as the format on the application and we can still approve it so long as the DOB is the same. So, when checking the DOB, check the type of ID first and the format it follows, then, match it with the DOB on the BO Tool.
See the DOB format below as a guide:
| ID Type and BO Tool | DOB Format |
| BO Tool View | yyyy/mm/dd |
| US State & most Federal IDs | mm/dd/yyyy |
| US Passports | dd/mo abbreviations/yyyy |
| Foreign IDs/Passports | dd/mo abbreviations/yyyy |
All personal information in the Photo ID can be used as a reference for review. If there's information that cannot be recognized or is covered we can always check for other details.
Reminder: This is not limited to Ohio but will apply to all state IDs we may encounter.
