When a caller (Customer, Street Agent, Dealer) contact us because they are having problems with the device that maybe they can't make phone calls, text or data and you check on the account and they have everything good we can proceed with the basic troubleshooting.

1. At first switch on the smartphone by pressing the Power key for a few seconds.

2.  After that choose Settings.

3. Then go to System --> Advanced.

4. Select Reset options and Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth

5.  At the end choose Reset Settings several times

Here's what a network settings reset might remove:

  • Wi-Fi network names and passwords.
  • Bluetooth device connections and preferences.
  • VPN settings, local history, and preferences.
  • Cellular network preferences such as data management and 4G/5G settings.

IMPORTANT

A network settings reset will not delete any files, folders, or other media stored on the device.

HOW TO HARD RESET

1. First of all, turn off your smartphone by pressing the Power key for a few seconds.

2.  Then push Volume Down and Power button for a couple of seconds.

3. Let go of all held keys when information about Fastboot Mode appears on the screen.

4. After that choose Recovery. Use Volume buttons to navigate and the Power key to confirm that.

5. When Android Robot logo pops up click Volume Up and Power button.

6. Now select Wipe data/factory reset by using Volume keys to scroll and the Power button to accept it.

7. In the next step go to Factory data reset option.

8. At the end, choose Reboot system now with the Power key.

APN SETTINGS

APN or Acces Point Names in some cases are not properly set up, which is why this must be verified and fixed in case there is an error.

To use the new APN settings they need to set up the Gen Mobile APNs, then the generic phone APN settings.

They will need to go through the process 2 times. When both are set, they need to select the Gen Mobile APN settings to use the service.
