Starting 9/1/23 ACP and Lifeline customers who transfer out, are canceled by NLAD, fail to recertify, or get canceled due to non-usage will all be moved to a 15-day grace period plan Discontinued

First, verify that the account is on the NLAD Grace Period or ACP Grace Period Plan
When moved to the grace period plan, the customer will receive messages about their account status. They will be advised to call 611 for options to purchase a prepaid plan.
Any customers on the ACP or NLAD grace period plan will have the option to purchase a prepaid plan at 50% off when they purchase a plan of $20 or higher.
The $10 prepaid plan will not be eligible for the discount.
Advisements
-Your account was changed to a grace period plan as a courtesy
-You have the option to keep the account and phone number if you switch to a prepaid plan
- We have $20,$30,$40, and $50 plan eligible to receive a 50% discount.
- The discount is only available one time for the first month’s payment
Things to know
-Customers can sign up for auto-pay, but after the first month, the plan price will not include a 50% discount.
- Do Not Select "Do you want to apply the discount in auto payment" and Do Not select a quantity in the Advance Billing Month(Quantity) section.
- Totals will vary based on applicable taxes
- Always choose the plan with the highest data amount in Vcare based on the plan price table below
-Customers on the NLAD Grace Period or ACP Grace Period Plan will have zero minutes and zero data buckets. They will be able to text, but they can't call and will be forwarded to Gen Mobile customer care.

-The $10 prepaid plan will not be eligible for the discount.
-If the customer takes advantage of the promo, disposition in QM and Vcare should be:
*Promotion/Sales: Use when the caller is calling due to a sales or promotional campaign
-If the customer doesn't want to take the promo, the disposition will be account status:
*Account Status NLAD Disconnect Dispute: For customers who call due to the status and say they didn't sign up for service with someone else
*Account Status NLAD Transfer: For customers who are disconnected and say they did recently sign up with another company

System Steps
First, verify that the account is on the NLAD Grace Period or ACP Grace Period Plan
1. To make the change, go to Plan Change in the Quick Links section. Then select the prepaid plan.

2. Scroll down and click the Additional Discount dropdown. Select 50% to provide a half-off discount.

3. Make sure to Not Select "Do you want to apply discount in auto payment" and do not select a quantity in the Advance Billing Month(Quantity) section.

4. Collect the credit card information and submit the payment.
