(Archived) ACP Plan Upgrades

To help our customers get the most out of their ACP plans, we will offer upgrades to ensure they receive the data they need.

All customers are eligible for the 3GB for $1 autopay
-This top-up must be set up with autopay.
-When set up with autopay, it provides 3GBs of additional data to the customer’s account each month.
-Customers who purchase this top-up will receive 3 additional GBs of data no matter what ACP, ACP + LL or LL plan they are on.

A customer on the standard 7GB plan will receive 10 GB of data (7GB +3GB)
A customer on the standard ACP + LL 16GB plan would receive 19 GB of data per month total (16 GB + 3GB)

Customers on the standard 7GB ACP plan can also upgrade their plan to a 16GB plan for $10
If a customer sets up autopay on this plan upgrade, they will get 16GBs (9 additional GBs of data) each month.
Customers do not need to sign up for autopay to receive this plan.
If they decide not to continue with the 16GB plan, the plan will change back to the 7GB plan

All ACP, ACP +LL, and LL customers can also upgrade to unlimited data* for $20 per month.

*Unlimited does not include unreasonable use. Customers will be throttled to a slower speed after 35GBs. 

How to pitch ACP Upgrades

Start by offering the $10 upgrade to customers on the standard 7GB ACP plan. This should be offered on all calls and chats.

Sales pitches:

Thanks for choosing Gen Mobile. Your plan includes 7GBs of high-speed data, for $10 more we can add an additional 9GBs of data so you have a total of 16GBs each month! Can we sign you up for our 16 GB plan?


If no,


We also have a plan that will add 3GBs of data to your account each month for just one dollar.(3GB for $1)

(you will need to read the autopay disclaimer for all 3GB for $1 sales)

Do not offer the $20 unlimited plan. Only provide if the customer is a high data user or wants a plan with more data. 

Do not offer an upgrade/do not make a sales attempt:

If the customer is escalating due to an unresolved issue

If the customer is unable to use the data

If the customer states their phone is lost, stolen, or broken

If the customer is already on any upgraded plan

Do not renew ACP plan upgrade, if the customer already upgraded, they can only buy data top-up (if the upgrades customer wants a plan with more data, we can offer $20 ACP unlimited plan)
