How to activate a GSM Account (Tmo and Atnt)

First, you have to check if the SIM card is from us in order to make the new activation, ask them for the order number to check if they purchased a plan with the SIM card on shopify 

1. How can I know if the SIM card is TMO or AT&T?

- In the middle, you have to see the digit 7 or 3 so you know what type of carrier it is. TMO: 7 ATT: 3


-Our SIM cards start with these digits: TMO: 8901240 / AT&T: 89014102


1.1 Checking GSM SIM Cards

If the SIM card is already in our inventory, the following screen will be displayed in vcare:

Also, this will allow you to see if the sim card has been activated before, the date it was activated and deactivated.

The history of use will appear under the ESN history tab, with details of when it was “Active” and when the account was deactivated.

1. This could either mean the sim card hasn’t been added to the inventory yet or it doesn’t belong to Gen Mobile.

2. Ask for the SIM Card number.

3. If the SIM number given by the customer appears on the file, it belongs to Gen Mobile.

4. Once confirmed it does, proceed to add the SIM to the inventory.

2. GSM ACTIVATION

Port in as New Activation

Remind the customer that they can ask for this information by calling their current carrier.
